Post-Friday Beast Blogging: The Risky Business Edition

Riley:  I love it when they go out, and we can watch whatever we want.  I think Team Blake is gonna crush it this week!

Moondoggie:  Do you think Christina Aguilera's boobs are real?
Riley:  Crap!  Did I leave the oven on...?

Moondoggie:  I mean, they look big enough to nurse an entire litter at once, but there's only two nipples, which means you'd have a huge kitten queue waiting to latch on.  Seems like kind of a design flaw, if you ask me...
Riley:  You!  Go check the oven!  I can't miss the Final Four!

Moondoggie:  I mean, they're so big they spill out of her dress and off the screen and halfway across the ro--  Oh.  Wait.  That's a biscuit warmer and a tether ball.  Never mind...

Such purdy puddies. And you're damned privileged that your feline overlords will let you photograph them in their natural environment and everyday activities... Somehow, I can't shake the feeling that when they wake up every day, prolly around noonish, that it goes something like this...

RILEY: Wakeup, doorstop.

MOONDOGGIE: Whattissit, Brain?

RILEY: Time to get up and go to work, Pinkie.

MOONDOGGIE: Whattarewe gonna do today, Brain?

RILEY: Same thing that we do EVERY day, Pinkie... TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!

What? Been done before?

Heh. You ever seen a cat, or a dog for that matter, ALLOW a bed to STAY made? Pfft.

Bow before thine feline overlords and thank them for not eating us in our sleep...

If their mother ship ever does arrive to rescue them from this dying planet, I sincerely doubt that their parting salvo will sound anything like, "Goodbye, and thanks for all the fish!"

BTW, anybody wanna feel REALLY old? That Antenna TV "network"(ha) is running "WKRP In Cincinnati," with a YOUNG Michael DesBarres in a band called "Scum of the Earth." How apropos... Nope, the show is not why *I* got into radio, but every time I happened to be in a vehicle with Teh Dick and we passed that squat, unattractive building @ Clearview & the service road, he HAD to say, "Hey! There's WKRP!"

Amazing that I can find the operative end of a punchline, eh? Well, I still can SOMETIMES, dammit...
