I mean, in Ep 1, Jar Jar's over-the-top comic relief was the best thing about a movie that completely sucked donkey balls, and he comes back in the next installment as...a Galactic Senator? Combine that with The Big Race (I started searching the crowd for Elvis...) and I was, like, OK, now George is just fucking with us.
And, FSM help me, when the new one comes out this Fall, I'll probably go see it, if I can find it at a 'plex with a Cinemascope/Panavision/whatever-they're-calling-it-these-days screen. Still the only way to watch any of these things, especially at these prices. I've been trying for years to figure out exactly what that scene reminded me of. If he hadn't given such abundant evidence he's dead serious with this stuff, I'd be more than half-convinced Lucas was trying for a little comic relief there. So ridiculous, on so many levels, the way that was choreographed.

Oh well, nobody lives forever. From all indications, Chris Lee had a pretty good run.
grouchomarxistnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1776456473941522431.post-89766212077436219842015-06-11T16:42:40.944-07:002015-06-11T16:42:40.944-07:00Today I've seen a few montages of his "be...Today I've seen a few montages of his "best moments" & those included Count Dooku. I also liked him in Horror Express where he plays this total dickweed who I think is a "good guy"? (I can't remember... been a while since I've seen that film).
